Dr. Varela is the only Board Certified Hand and Upper extremity surgeon in the North Central Arkansas region. He performed specialized hand, microsurgery, elbow, and shoulder surgery at Duke Medical Center under the mentorship of world famous hand surgeon Dr. James Urbaniak.
